Classic French Toast

If you’re craving a delightful yet simple breakfast for a lazy Sunday morning, this classic French toast recipe is a perfect choice. I mostly make salty French toast, without any vanilla or cinnamon. Cause you know cinnamon gives a sweet taste.  I know mine is not the original recipe that’s why I’m not sharing 🙂

What’s include the French Toast?

Stale bread; I prefer use stale breads, it’s not just recycle the bread also it’s taste much better. Try to make with sourdough or challah bread, it’s so much tastier.

Eggs, milk and butter; use room warm milk and egg, don’t caramelize the butter when cooking the breads.

Vanilla extract and cinnamon; They are gonna give a sweet and spicy flavor. If you want you can add honey instead of vanilla extract.

Sevice tips;

  • For a sweet touch, add sugar to the mixture, but consider the toppings before deciding.
  • Older bread works best, as it absorbs the egg and milk mixture more efficiently, making this recipe a sustainable choice.

This easy-to-follow French toast recipe requires minimal ingredients, making it a convenient and delicious option for a relaxed Sunday breakfast. Enjoy the perfect balance of flavors with every bite!
