What do you need for Tahini Pumpkin?

To recreate this mouthwatering dessert, all you need are pumpkins, sugar, and tahini. While these form the core components, I’ve added a few extra ingredients to enhance the overall flavor profile. The simplicity of this recipe makes it a perfect choice for those times when you crave a delightful treat without the fuss.

Healthy Alternatives and Cooking Tips:

If you’re looking for a wholesome alternative to pumpkin pie or prefer to avoid using sugar, try roasting the pumpkins with a touch of honey in the oven. This method not only imparts a unique flavor but also caters to those who seek a less sugary option.

How long can you store it?

You can store it in the fridge for about 5-7 days. If kept outside the fridge, it will last for 2-3 days, but make sure to store it in a cool place, covered with plastic wrap. Avoid adding all the tahini at once, as it may dry out; add the tahini just before serving.

Do you need water to cook pumpkin?

Contrary to common belief, you don’t need to add water when cooking pumpkins. The natural juices released by the pumpkins during the cooking process are sufficient. Adding excess water might dilute the flavors, resulting in pumpkins that are both tasteless and sugarless.

Elevate your dessert game with this delightful Tahini Pumpkin recipe, a perfect blend of tradition and innovation. Whether it’s a cozy winter evening or a quick treat any time of the year, this dessert is sure to satisfy your sweet cravings.
