My aunt’s perfect recipe. The fluffy, sponge, super tasty cake, just with 2 eggs. It’s my classic recipe. I mostly make this cake recipe with different flavors. Sometimes I add cinnamon and carrot, sometimes I add some fruits… This is a pretty basic and the best cake recipe.

Who doesn’t like cakes ?

I can say cake is my favorite desert. I usually make this cake without sauce. This is my aunt classic cake recipe. I tried to find the best cake recipe for years and I found it.

How to make a cake rise?

When you’re making cakes, the rising is the biggest problem. That’s why I’m using 1 1/2 package baking powder. And I never open the oven before the cake rising. It’s almost 30-35 minutes.

How can you make the best cake ?

I have some tips to make a cake better.

Fresh eggs. Use room temperature fresh eggs in the cake.

First using the mixer. When you’re mixing eggs and sugar start slowly. Mix the egg and sugar at least 3 minutes. First 1 minute use the mixer slow. Next 1 minute use the mixer fast. And the last one minute use the mixer slow again. When the mixture became white and when you see the bubbles that’s mean mixture is done.

Using water. When you add 2 tablespoon water makes the cake fluffy. If you’re making two colors cake first add some water to your white cake. Then add cacao and add a little bit more water. Cause the cacao make the cake thicker.

Using baking powder. You can read in some recipes, baking powder and baking soda together. It works of course. But I use more baking powder. It rises the cake perfectly. Don’t make the cake so thick. It’s not a pancake. If your cake is little bit juicy that’s mean it’s gonna be more fluffy. But be careful cause it’s also not a eggnog, not that juicy.

Add the flour slowly. When adding the flour, I add 3 tablespoons every time. Mix well. And before adding flour combine with the baking powder.

You can use prepared sauce. But I love the homemade one.
